- Amadeus wins 2023 Choose France award in the innovation and innovative technologies category
Presentation made in Paris at the Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental de la France
Commitment to innovation of the Spanish company recognized by the jury
Amadeus has been recognized with the prestigious Choose France award by Business France, the national governmental agency serving the internationalization of the French economy. The award celebrates the innovative technology of the travel tech leader headquartered in Spain.
During the awards ceremony, Amadeus was commended for its commitment to pushing back the boundaries of innovation and excellence. The jury also recognized Amadeus’s contribution to a more sustainable economy and to talent development.
Denis Lacroix, President, Amadeus France says: “It is an honor to receive this prize from Business France. France is an historic and strategic market for Amadeus and we are very proud to be recognized for our contribution to the country’s economic development as we continue to grow and invest in the country, recruiting over 800 new staff in France between 2022 and 2023. I want to thank the Amadeus team for their dedication, commitment, and innovative spirit.”
A representative panel of 15 judges selected the award winners, with participants drawn from key institutions and qualified business players. The jury looked at the progress of the candidate’s projects, ESG policies, investments, and the impact of the company’s activities on employment in France and in the country’s regions.
The Choose France Summit, launched at the initiative of President Macron, brings together annually hundreds of leaders from the largest multinational companies and seeks to promote France’s economic attractiveness and to encourage international investment across the country. The Choose France Award recognizes companies that are investing in France and that contribute to the country’s economic development.
