The new Agent Module in Amadeus Leisure Platform will simplify the booking of Dutch, German and Belgian tour operator packages

Rapid technological advancements, emergence of new players, and the pandemic have all played a part in creating a very challenging tourism landscape. Given today’s highly competitive market, it has become essential for travel business owners to stay on top of their game. The new Agent Module in Amadeus Leisure Platform’s booking interface will help travel businesses improve customer service and help demonstrate the advantage of booking through travel advisers.

Following the successful pilot of this modern, intuitive interface with Dutch-based agencies, Amadeus is ready to roll out the solution across the Benelux region to meet the needs of Travel Counsellors’ entire network in The Netherlands and Belgium. The new Agent Module provides travel businesses across the region access to Dutch and German tour operator content in one booking flow plus full back-office integration with their own applications and websites. Going forward, Belgian content will be added to attract local businesses and make the offering truly comprehensive.

Recognized as an innovative platform that brings together tour operator content from the Netherlands and Germany in a single system, theAmadeus Leisure Platform – Benelux won the 2020 Vakantie Award for Innovation .

Launching the Agent Module as travel rebounds will allow businesses to directly respond to the ever-growing demand for flexible and personalized vacations. The advanced tool offers powerful search and comparison options, personalized search, fast comparison of tour operator content and an easy-to-use interface packed with rich content in the form of photos, descriptions and verified reviews. Travel business owners will also be able to adapt the tool to meet their commercial and business objectives by promoting sales of the most profitable products and preferred suppliers.
